Restorative Dentistry

Greetings

Our outpatient department provides cavity, root canal and minor periodontal disease (alveolar pyorrhea) treatment to adults. We also provide preventive treatment for infection and oral healthcare for patients who will receive or have received surgery at the medical clinical division (marrow transplant, organ transplant, heart surgery, joint surgery, etc.).

Outline

Treatment details

Cavity treatment

We drill only the decayed part and make efforts to conserve healthy teeth as far as possible. We promote the use of fluoride-containing materials that are expected to prevent cavities, and visually attractive materials.

Root treatment (root canal treatment)

As tooth decay progresses, the pulp (nerve) inside the tooth is affected, causing pain in most cases. If it is left as it is, bacteria further invade the body through the pulp-containing root canal.
It may take time to treat a thin and winding root canal, but it is important to block the route of infection.
We handle stubborn cases, such as cases in which the pain does not subside by root canal treatment or cases requiring an extended period of treatment, and perform treatment under a microscope depending on the case.

To patients who undergo surgery in the medical division

We respond to requests of the medical clinical division, and provide preventive treatment for infection and oral hygiene for patients who will receive or have received surgery in the clinical surgery division (marrow transplant, organ transplant, heart surgery, joint surgery, etc.).

Tooth whitening

We perform tooth whitening to lighten teeth that have been discolored for some reasons. It may be difficult to lighten the color depending on the condition of the discolored teeth. This treatment is performed based on a careful diagnosis.

Dental stereoscopic microscope

This microscope is mainly used to check the inside of the root canal. You can see an image that has been magnified by the intense rays of light, allowing you to know the condition of the teeth in detail.
